Update : After BMW CANADA said they had no influence on privately owned dealers, I wanted to speak with someone higher than the GM, because of my already escalated issues with him. Katie Maier seemed to be at the top from Parkview, so I forwarded my initial correspondence with BMW CANADA to let her know I spoke to them. I received no response from her, but I later got an email from Sal saying BMW Canada decline to fix my carpet. Which makes sense because they did it. I was all out of options, so I wrote a truthful, but bad review about Parkview in my yelp, and then to my surprise Sal calls me twice to say he has to do a tie-rod recall so bring the car. I go and to my surprise he even gives me a free loaner car.

Sal emails me that my strut-tops, and tie-rods, needed to be replaced and I also have a severely bent wheel. My wheel felt fine and I've never hit any potholes so I thought that was strange. I asked Sal, what about the CV joints? and he says there was no mention of that, but that's what I heard the SA Clyde say.

He then insists that I bring back the loaner the next day until the strut mount arrives and he'll do the job all at once. I asked if I could keep the loaner because I felt it was unsafe, with all the current issues and I explained that PTSD from a past incident where my cv-joint broke, and the wheel fell off. He says I wouldn't give you your car if I thought it was unsafe. Next, he says, just come and we'll have your tie-rod, android auto, and wheel replaced. I said fine I'll be there by 1 pm July 24. He says come by at 4 pm everything will be ready.

I get there and Sal tells me, they ordered the wrong wheel, but they did the tie rods and alignment, but I have a severely bent wheel. I found this unbelievable! I go to the car and my wife says your tires look flat, I thought she was talking about the profile. all I noticed was that they were dull, I had shined them before I dropped it off, but a couple of days did pass. I didn't feel comfortable driving with all the existing issues and severely bent wheel, so I set up another appointment with another dealer on June 6th. I drove as little as possible until then.

To make a long story short. I found out Parkview did absolutely nothing during the last service and I even have a receipt. The mechanic said my alignment was way off and tie rod and strut mounts still need to be replaced.

To make things worse, I found out that my tires were swapped out with damaged and worn-out ones. My car only has 13,000km and half of that was on winter tires. I had my summers tires mounted and balanced on May 2020 and right rear tire replaced through insurance mid may due to nail puncture. I have record of all of it. They have a 50,000 mile warranty and there is no way they could be worn out and damaged.

I looked up the dangers of driving with faulty strut mounts, tie rods, and cv joints, steering rack, and brake issues and it really describes how it feels. I even removed my most recent update from the public forums because I'm worried what their next move will be.

I've spoken to several lawyers and they said that this is criminal fraud, so I thought I would inform you. I'm too scared to do anything, so I haven't. I just don't understand why these people insist on messing with me. I just wanted my car to run to spec.

I've put all my money towards it, and I haven't been able to use it. I now see I've made a mistake leasing with them. The car has been sitting in a garage collecting dust since July 6th since the other dealer told me, and Parkview still hasn't called me about the part.

I'm just informing you so it's on record, and in case something happens to me. Please don't tell them that I know what they did. I'm worried seriously afraid of what they might do next.

Parkview deliberately falsified the repairs so I would crash, and destroy the evidence, and out spite they've been messing with me because they think they can.
Faking a repair on my vehicle, swapping my tires out with old and damaged and bald ones was crossing the line.
I can't even make a tire insurance claim and they know this because they are below 2mm wear. That $1900 for insurance well spent. I was hoping my tires would last the duration of the lease.
If I hadn't gone to BMW shortly after, I would have never known and potentially had an accident. Putting my wife in harms way I cannot stand. She doesn't understand cars, how things work.
These guys are dangerous and have to be prosecuted.
I don’t need proof from a mechanic that repairs were falsified. Just look at the receipt and the no good they've been up to. Sal refusing to give me a receipt, WHY?!
Why wouldn't he give me a loaner vehicle? Why would he let me drive with all the existing issues?
Maria knows I had just come from Parkview and the job was already diagnosed at Parkview. Their mechanics know when a repair has been made or not. They would not do the job twice like BMW's lawyer were trying to convince me of.
Just look at the facts. Why did they delete my dashcam footage?
Why did they burn a hole in my carpet?
Why did Parkview say i have a severely bent wheel when I don't?
Just look up the dangers of driving with bad struts and tie rods. why did he not make me aware of it?
I have evidence for everything accept the carpet. That just my word but everything else justify's it.
I have proof that the car had issues right after purchase, I visited my dealer 16 times after purchase, Why is he deleting the service records?
If he tries to cover it, I have my google map history which indicate the dates and times I was there, and my appointment reminders. Most appointments being before COVID.
By making a claim on a wheel, I believe he was trying to make it look like I damaged the suspension from the impact of something, or he really was trying to get me hurt.
This is so scary. He already knew I may sue, so I guess felt threatened hence covering his tracks, by deleting service reports.
If he tries to contact the insurance company to cover the track I have that covered too. I recorded the phone call and asked for my claim info, funny they wouldn't send it to me, only tell me the dates and amounts. The last claim he made was a wheel he still holds.
I ask BMW Toronto to call Parkview and get the wheel. My SA said, they don't want to get involved. I just confirmed it, and I don’t think they will want to get involved.
Why is BMW Canada not helping me, and why are BMW lawyers calling grilling me for my evidence? Trying to convince me I don't have enough. Trying to make me believe I would lose a lot of money if I take this to court?
They are all in it together! I will sell everything I own to have them prosecuted!

Update: Shortly after, I got an appointment with another BMW dealer and they said I can have a loaner. I thought their loaners were only for customers, never the less, I give the SA the diagnosis video and tell her all my problems can be clearly seen in the video and said there was no need to test drive the vehicle the issues are clear as day in the video. I get a call and the SA says my tires are at 2mm wear and edging, and my alignment was way off, so they performed a tie rod recall, and alignment again, and said I had to replace my tires next visit. I was like what?! Those tires are new, I had winter's on until May, and I had the right rear replaced through insurance 3 times, and the DFO at my dealer said I had a severely bent wheel. Can you check the wheel? She seemed a little thrown off herself, and got back to me later saying there was only curb rash, by then I was raging! I got into the loaner and drove to my dealer raising hell as someone suggested I do. As soon as I enter the dealership, it's pretty empty and there were a couple of SA at the table. I said you! You were the one I called about the parts to see if they were in and you never got back to me. I start yelling where is my damn receipt! I was so raged I didn't know what I was saying. The SA says No it was him, it wasn't me! I got flustered and looked around looking for the DFO. Where is he! I said where my receipt and he said the work order is still open so we will give it to you after the job is complete. I said no, that's not how it works. Then I said where is DFO! and what kind of bullshit business is this? The last thing I said to the SA, I will put you out of business! DFO pops around very calmly, and I say where my parts, you said they would be in yesterday, but I got no call and nobody would answer. Then he tells me your part will take another 2 weeks, but we can change your wheel. I paused... no idea what to say. speechless. Then I say then give me the receipt, where is my receipt. He's like ok ok I have to print it out and goes off. I tell I have 20 minutes to get to work, I leave. Update: Three weeks later, without my car and there is still no solution BMW will give me for the brakes. To no surprise, BMW Toronto says they can't emulate the issue and I'm going through this shit again with the brakes.
I've been patient over a year now to the point of insanity. From mysterious carpet burn, suspension failure, lemon brakes, dealer joyriding, probably causing a whole lot of consequential damage, I'm guessing my steering rack, shocks, and CV joint is probably all shot. The lies I have to deal with, and the most recent tire damage, and false claims. I need to getaway. Why do you have to convince these dealers that something is wrong, why don't they just fix it? I wish I knew nothing about cars so I could go on completely clueless. I checked google timeline, I've been to my dealer sixteen times to date. That's how serious I was. Maybe I can see where they took my car for a spin. Let me know how often you guys go.

I am collecting individual dates because Parkview tampered with the service history. I know I went back at least 5 times before COVID and Parkview history only says 2.

The dangers of driving on faulty strut mounts and ties rods.

For these reasons, there is no doubt that it is dangerous to drive in a car with defective strut mount bearings. In addition to the safety aspect, there is an economic incentive to replace defective strut mount bearings. Over time, they will cause consequential damage to other parts of the suspension - and thus additional and unnecessary repair costs for the car owner.The strut mount bearing is an important part of the suspension and connects the strut with the body. The bearings on the front axle allow the strut to turn in the strut tower during steering movements, thus ensuring smooth and precise steering. In addition, the strut can change its angle to the body within the strut tower to a certain extent thanks to the strut mount bearing. The damping effect of the bearing also ensures that noise and vibrations of the suspension are not transmitted to the body. Strut mount bearings are designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle. However, wear, high load or external influences such as frost, salt, humidity and temperature fluctuations can lead to a shortened lifespan.How to recognize a defective strut mount bearing:If you want to detect a defective strut mount bearing, there are several signs that you should keep in mind:• A loud bang when driving over a pothole or a moderate bang when driving over bumps on the road may indicate a defective strut mount bearing.• The steering is heavier, works sometimes even jerky; it has more play than usual or reacts with a delay on steering movements.• Turn the steering wheel slightly in both directions with the engine started and the handbrake engaged. Outside the car, a person listens carefully. If there is a slight squeaking or creaking, one or both bearings are likely to be defective.

I found this damage on my first cleaning of the interior. I've asked Sal Portelli to check the surveillance footage and that I can help scope through it, but I received no response.

SERVICE WORK REORDS

On 9/3/19, I thought they would finally take a closer look, instead returning my car next day after burnishing my brakes without my permission, and neglecting to address the suspension, steering, and brake issues and leaving off the record. 1/2 a tank of gas was also missing. All issues were still in full force.

They keep saying the brakes are noisy because of the carbon ceramics. The M340i does not come equipped with carbon ceramics. Those are very expensive racing brakes that always need to be driven aggressively, they are not built for the street and that not even the reason I wanted them serviced. They are stiff and I have to press harder to stop, and extremely jerky stops, and the AutoH (automatic brake hold ) function is no longer a luxury but a nuisance.

The date on the Parkview Receipt is wrong. he initially didn't give me one, so I emailed him and asked him for it.

I dropped my car on the July 21 and picked up on the July 24 when I picked up my car at Parkview, and dropped it off at BMW Toronto on Aug 6th and it sits there to this day.

My Stolen Tires

Even if I had driven the full 13000km on these tires they would be fine.

Emails with Sal Portelli from Parkview and Maria Karabas from BMW Toronto stating that the work has been completed. This is when I discovered my wheels were swapped for old damaged ones. Scientifically impossible to wear out and damage tires in that short time.

Parkview gave me my car on the 24th of July with no receipt! I went back on the 6th requesting for the receipt and I was unsuccessful. On August 12th I requested for the receipt again and said I was coming to pick it up. Shortly after the receipt was delivered.

Criminal Fraud & Insurance Fraud

I picked up my car after a tie-rod recall and alignment Parkview BMW claimed to have serviced and completed. I dropped it off at BMW Toronto as soon as possible. The SA called me and said my alignment was completely off, tie-rods need to be replaced, and strut tops are on back order. Also, tires needed to be replaced because they were worn out and edged off. That's when I realized Sal swapped my tires and didn't perform anything he said he did. Sal had swapped my tires for old damaged ones, the cost to replace all four is $3500, and the tire insurance would not cover it past 80% wear. That when I realized Sal, rigged my car, risked me and wife life by sending me off with a bent wheel, faulty tie rods, faulty strut mounts, and brakes that don't work properly. Sal, tried to sabotage my car so I would get into an accident. I knew if any one of those components fail, my wheel can break off. It's happened to me before, and I was hospitalized. I have extreme anxiety and the situation.On top of that, he committing insurance fraud with my rim and tires insurance company. He recently claimed for a $1300 wheel thats completely fine. This was confirmed by BMW Toronto when I asked them to check the rim twice and the receipt does not indicate. I had my right rear tire replaced twice before I switch out to winter tires in November, had them switch back to summers in April and then once again in May 2020. and the rest were like new. My car currently has 13,806k miles. This is scientifically impossible. I hope this is enough fact to prove they were swapped. I'm stressing so much about this.

Sal's Motive

I threatened the GM and Sal. I would sue for the damaged carpet. and prior to picking up my car at Parkview BMW for service in the most recent. I had raged to Sal and hassled him about my suspension and even sent him the link to the BMW forums and my new website dedicated to my experience with Parkview. There was a lot in the forums of everyone bashing them after my post so I was a little worried, but to my surprise, Sal said he will finally diagnose the suspension after almost a year of saying everything is normal. He said he would change the tie rod, severely damaged wheel, and install android auto.He said to bring it in, so I dropped it off and even got a loaner. He was being so nice, I thought finally some relief and some good service. Instead, to my surprise the very next day he told me to bring the loaner back until the parts arrive. He said they had to back order the strut mounts and that I should have everything done at once. I thought, couldn't he have at least fixed my brakes? Sal said that the strut tops, tie rods, and front wheel was severely bent and needed to be replaced. I emailed saying that it was too dangerous and that I feel its not safe, and even mentioned that I had the cv joint popped out on me in the pasts while on the highway, which put me into the hospital for days. Then I told him I will keep the loaner until the my repairs were fix. and ignored him until the next day where I received another email saying that he will have my tie rods and wheel replaced. The last thing I said, if something happens... you will be held liable, and then I went over there to pick up my car.I get there and he says the alignment and tie rod job completed, but they brought the wrong wheel so we couldn't do that. This is before I knew he was bullshitting to get me to come bring the loaner back. I even apologized to that weasel for all the trouble. As my wife and I headed for the car, I found yet another missing chipped paint on the hood, and my wife thought the wheels looked flat. I noticed the tires looked warn out. I had detailed them with tire shine prior to dropping them off and they were also dull. After driving off I realized they didn't give me a receipt. I had set up an appointment at BMW Toronto the next day, they gave be a loaner , and I when directly to Parkview demanding for a receipt because by then I knew he was bullshitting about the repair. That's when I raised hell, went to my SA and said, where's my receipt? He got yelled at the most because he kept lying to me saying that he'll give it to me after the strut mount and brakes job is complete. I kept saying where's my receipt? Funny nobody stopped me from yelling or cause a ruckus. They all had their heads down, and just tried to ignore me. That's when Sal came out, smooth talking, saying ok ok I get the receipt. I said, hurry up i got 20 minutes to get to work. He wen't off, I had no time and left. I found out my tires were swapped when I got the invoice.

Instead of servicing your vehicle they take them for joyrides. Below is an app that monitors every move the car makes. The car comes with a dash cam they refuse to activate.

I specifically told them that I didn't want them to drive my car. The car was already serviced and diagnosed and they just needed to work on it. I even sent them my diagnostics video, and what did they go do? This was before any service was done to the vehicle. There was no reason to drive the car.
